Good to prepare. Most suitable and reasonable level.
I bought it for preparation for the SHSAT and I understood everything with marvelous explanations. The only con is the poor paper quality, as I try to write the paper rips.

I keep buying these books, and they're all sub-par. Argo Bros is wayyyyy to hard for this test, and riddled with mistakes, and Barrons isn't even updated at all. I thought for sure I could rely on Kaplan. So I read through this book, and THERE IS NOT ONE SINGLE POEM IN THE WHOLE BOOK. And there are literally like TWO literary passages in the whole book. Is this how they update for the current test? By slapping "2018-2019" on the cover but completely ignoring all guidance from the DOE?Does anyone know of a GOOD shsat book? Please???
While helpfull, I see 3 problems:1 errors2 some questions confusing, not clear what exactly asked: 2 adults and child just guessing what asked3 explanations too dry, like not teacher to kids but mathematician to college students, but it is a refresher for 13 years old...
